Technique
Using the ancient method of dowsing, we will be able to access your inner mind, also known as the subconscious. Access to this part of the mind helps us find out what emotions or beliefs are running your "programs".
What is the subconscious mind? This is the part of the mind that stores automated information that runs your system without conscious thought.
For example, remember learning to drive? You had to pay attention and learn every detail. Using the gas pedal, the brake pedal. watching every sign, other cars, pedestrians, etc. Once you repeated these learned behaviors they became second nature. Have you ever had the experience of driving to a particular destination and realizing you hadn't really paid much attention to how you got there? the subconscious mind was on auto pilot!
The inner mind's job is not only to run on auto pilot for jobs and tasks to make your life easier, it's other job is to keep you safe. It is the inner mind that remembers that the stove is hot. You do not have to consciously think every time you're near a stove that it could possibly be hot and cause bodily harm. This is automatic. The inner mind is also that voice that when you feel fear it tells you to stop, wait, don't do or try that.
Well, when we want to go for our dreams, try something new it's uncomfortable. We generally have an emotion or a belief that causes the inner mind to say it's not safe for us to proceed.
The purpose of the D.I.R.E.C.T. Technique is to tap the inner mind and find exactly the belief or emotion that is running your program. those beliefs are there to keep you from harm. But what if the beliefs are wrong?!
We all are exposed to other peoples limiting beliefs either by culture, or familial systems, etc. these beliefs are put on us as if they are fact. Your limiting beliefs may not even be yours at all. Or they may be yours from a time in your life when they served you well. Are they serving you know?
